William G. Crawford, Jr., is the author of “Florida’s Big Dig,” the story of Florida’s Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, and the recipient of the Florida Historical Society’s 2008 Rembert Patrick Award for the "Best Book on Florida History." A prolific author and frequent speaker on state and local history throughout the State of Florida, Bill has appeared as Historian on the Modern Marvels documentary, “The Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway,” shown on the History Channel. Bill was a Featured Author at the 2009 Florida Heritage Book Festival, St. Augustine, Florida.
